🏆 SAI Hosts the Masters World Championship – Every Year

Scottish Athletics International (SAI) is proud to serve as the organizing body of the Masters World Championship, a premier global event celebrating the strength, endurance, and competitive spirit of seasoned athletes from around the world.

Held each year at various games around the globe, this championship brings together masters-class athletes (age 40+) to compete in the full slate of Highland Games events — from the caber toss to the hammer throw — all while honoring the culture, tradition, and camaraderie that define our sport.

Whether defending a title or stepping onto the field for the first time at this level, competitors and spectators alike experience an unforgettable blend of world-class competition and Highland heritage.
