MWC 2025 athletes, please check your emails. We got final information from the festival on parking passes and a map to show us where we can park. As well as a few other details. We did have an email on record for all athlete so everyone should have received it.

We are under 3 weeks out and the Roster for MWC 2025 is set. No new athletes will be invited if another one has to back out. CelticFest Mississippi is providing 3 tents for the athletes bisecting the two fields. They are 10'x50', 10'x30', and 10'x20'. There will be 100 chairs and some tables as well. You do not need to bring your own tents. We will have wristbands for the athlete and their plus 1 along with athlete meal tickets when you check in at the banquet on Friday night or your first day of competition. Thank you Suezen for providing this for all of the athletes and their families.

Braemar rules clarification from the AD for MWC 2025 Braemar Rules for the games I am the Athletic Director to include 2025 Master's Worlds: 1) You may lift your lead foot as long as it does not advance toward the trig. The best way to ensure it does not advance toward the trig is to begin the throw with the foot against the trig. 2) Foot replacement is allowed. 3) Do not touch the top of the trig. 4) Stone must land inside the sector. The first two are the most common questions I receive about Braemar Stone. #1 being the most disputed because of other AD's and other Judge interpretations. I keep it simple. If your foot began the throw against the trig, lifting it and shifting weight is not an advancement. It is simply a stand throw. No need in making it complicated. I know there are other AD's and judges reading this wanting to input how they do it or were "trained". Cool story. Not interested. Run your game the way you like. I am simply letting athletes competing at my game know what to expect. I will put out a video demonstrating what my judges will be looking at for clarity. We will be consistent and clear and my judges will follow my policies.

FYI, for anyone having issues registering for MWC, do not message anyone on the SAI board directly or the HA dev team. You will not get help that way. This is still the best place to get help is to post in the How Do I or the Bug report if you see an actual bug response on the website. For the most common issue, you registered and got a confirmation email, but Stripe was not able to complete payment. Stripe can be finicky that way and is a stand alone website not managed by the HA dev team. You will need to start over the process to get the link to Stripe. 1) Go to the games to unregister yourself. It should show you as payment pending. https://heavyathlete.com/game/6106/ 2) Click the link in your invitational email to restart the registration. If it states the registration is closed that is by design to now allow anyone that wants to, to register. Log into HA and click the link in your email again. 3) Once done on the HA side and you are redirected to Stripe, complete the payment.

Check your spam and junk folder for invites, finding a few thinking they didn’t get invited due to this. Next invites go out next Friday. If you are not planning to attend, please contact me to decline. It will help me ensure I don’t need to double check before continuing to the next folks. People are traveling from overseas that are on the waitlist and want to give them time to book travel.
